Connect a strong source to your next lesson

The Chrome Teaching Companion brings reviewed web pages, PDFs, visible document text and supplied transcripts into the Artifact Vault. Course materials, standards, editable drafts and lesson plans share the same instructional record.

  1. Capture and review the source

    Open the extension on a useful article or PDF, select a passage, use local OCR for visible document text, or supply a YouTube transcript. Review extraction before saving.

  2. Ground it in your course

    Choose your course, writable Artifact Vault and adopted standards. Confirm the content contains no protected learner information. Alignment stays proposed until educator review.

  3. Create the captured artifact

    Save the selected material with its source reference and provenance so it can become an editable artifact or source packet without pretending the capture is original content.

  4. Connect it to the next lesson

    Find existing resources first, then create a lesson, worksheet, exit ticket, slides, reading supports or discussion questions if needed. Review the draft in Artifact Studio and attach the captured source to a planned lesson.
